ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Claire Novorol’s career has been guided by her deep interest in developing creative solutions to tackle real world problems.
At Ada, she is responsible for overseeing medical affairs, clinical partnerships and for ensuring Ada's products are tailored to support patient needs.
She has advised several health startups throughout her career, and also founded Doctorpreneurs - a global community of over 10,0000 medical professionals who share an interest in health entrepreneurship.
Prior to Ada, Claire worked as a Paediatrician and Clinical Geneticist within the NHS. She also has a degree in Pathology and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge.
ABOUT THE EPISODE:
If you take the U-Bahn in Berlin you must have noticed those huge posters saying “Hi I’m Ada I can help if you are feeling unwell”.
And Ada actually does just that-it puts an AI doctor in your pocket. Anytime you feel unwell you can indicate your symptoms in the Ada app and it gives you direction on how to proceed.
Awesome no? What’s even more awesome is that Ada raised $69.3M to push full steam ahead and influence the health system for the better.
