This week we chat with Shannon Bahrke-Happe. Shannon is a 3x Olympian and 2x Medalist winning the Silver Medal in 2002 (Salt Lake City) and the Bronze Medal in 2010 (Vancouver) as a Freestyle Mogul Skier. Shannon is a beacon of positivity and has an innate ability to overcome obstacles by framing a solid mindset to overcome any barriers. Shannon credits her success to everything that lies between her ears. While she admits that it takes a special athlete to adapt to Olympian skills, what put Shannon over the top is her ability to address weaknesses and visualize success. Shannon has had some bumps in the road as an athlete being serious injury or friends in the ski community that have battled with depression. What makes Shannon so special is how she takes these setbacks, learns from them and turn them into strengths. Enjoy her story. Shannon is an amazing human.
