You probably haven’t heard of Rebecca Allen… yet, but you’ll soon wonder why you haven’t seen her name come up sooner. In her time at Goldman Sachs, she noticed that all of the (white) women wore nude heels and she, as a Black woman, couldn’t find a similar look for her skin tone. Through that frustration came insight and she started a versatile nude shoe line for women of black and brown color. Now, she’s using that business as the springboard for other exciting ventures focused on supporting Black women and their needs.

Rebecca is the founder of Rebecca Allen, Inc. a new brand, making sophisticated solutions for women across categories. The brand is building a disruptive seller network where sellers earn commission by introducing customers to products that they love. It’s been featured in The Cut, Elle, R29, Essence, and Teen Vogue, among others and its products are worn by boss women all over the world.
In a past life as an investment advisor, Rebecca searched for a brand that truly designed and produced with her in mind. The Rebecca Allen brand was born to hold Black and brown women at the heart of all decision-making and to support women to do their best work.
A graduate of Columbia Business School and Williams College, Rebecca lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband Yosef Johnson, a toddler, and a cat.
