Root Chakra (Muladhara): Place your hands on your lap, palms facing up. Join the tips of your thumb and index finger, forming a circle. Keep the other fingers extended and relaxed.
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana): Place your hands on your lap, palms facing up. Touch the tips of your thumbs and bring the tips of your little fingers together. Keep the other fingers extended and relaxed.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): Interlock your fingers and bring your hands in front of your stomach. Keep your thumbs pointing up. Cross your thumbs, with the right thumb over the left thumb.
Heart Chakra (Anahata): Place your hands in a prayer position at your heart centre, palms pressed together. Gently press the base of your thumbs against your sternum.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Place your hands in front of your chest. Cross your fingers, with the left thumb under the right thumb. Keep the other fingers relaxed.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna): Rest your hands on your lap, palms facing up. Bring the tips of your index fingers to touch the tips of your thumbs, forming a circle. Keep the other fingers extended and relaxed.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): Rest your hands on your lap, palms facing up. Allow your fingertips to gently touch, forming a triangle shape. Keep the other fingers extended and relaxed.
While practising these hand postures, you can combine them with focused breathing and visualization to enhance the healing and balancing of the corresponding chakras.
