For over twenty years, April Glasco M.A., the founder and CEO of Second Chance Last Opportunity Inc., a nonprofit organization in Sarasota, Florida, has empowered individuals from all walks in life to gain a sense of self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence through her teaching, counseling, interpersonal workshops, and speaking engagements. In 1995, no longer able to watch local residents squander their lives, April started Second Chance-Last Opportunity, a 501© 3 dedicated to educating and empowering an invisible population. She earned an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in December 2011 and is known in the Sarasota county for her unique and effective combination of street smarts, incisive counseling, and unflinching response to the needs of those she serves. April’s also helped empower individuals to dream bigger, think outside the box, and reach their goals by way of self-employment, continuing their education, career discovery. April Glasco completed her education by receiving her Doctor of Divinity Degree.
