After six long months of rehearsals, it’s show day!
Our Sysyphus, Head Common Person Neridah Waters and her dance captains, have pushed eight heaving boulders of enthusiastic and semi coordinated groovers up a hill the size of the Gabba Football Stadium for half a year and the end is finally in sight. Will Neridah get them all to the top, or will Our Head Common Person and all the dancers get crushed under the weight of their collective enthusiasm?

Common People People Project was made in Magandjin / Meanjin, and recorded on the Country of the Turrbal, Yuggara, Bundjalung and Gubbi Gubbi peoples. We extend our deepest respect to the First Peoples, who have danced here since time immemorial.

It is produced, written and hosted by Adam Wood and Pia Perversi-Burchall, with creative direction from Neridah Waters and Lucas Stibbard. Audio and sound design by Chris Gillette, audio sub editing by Andre Bonetti, artwork by Kellie Vella, and graphic design by Lori Dean.
