It’s that we don’t see it; we disconnect our choices from our emptiness and insist nothing’s wrong. That’s why this series matters: being a sinner isn’t fatal, but denying it is. Until we’re honest about where we’re looking for life, we’ll keep returning to what leaves us dry.
