In this episode, Mike discusses how the book Hiring the Heavens: A Practical Guide to Developing Working Relationships with the Spirits of Creation by Jean Slatter helped him to deal with the crisis with his wife in the hospital. Using the practical tips from this book over the past 13 years, Mike developed his own “Board of Directors” with different teams of Spirits whom he had “hired” to assist with earthly pursuits: work, finances, public speaking, genealogy, and even travel agents! But the most useful team that he formed is called “Team Love” and it consists of the Spirits of a select group of deceased loved ones.  Their guidance helped him with a very difficult decision related to the care for his wife as she lay in a hospital Intensive Care Unit unconscious and on a ventilator.
