#7 – Femicide – a global crisis

Listen Later

Every ten minutes, a woman in the world is intentionally killed. Of these nearly 60 % were murdered by a partner or family member. Femicide – the killing of a woman or girl because she is a woman – is a global crisis that we don’t talk about. But most femicides are preventable, because they have similar patterns. In this episode, we are joined by Ditte Bjerregaard, founder and director of The Center for Violence Prevention in Denmark, for a conversation about solutions.

In this episode you will hear: Morten Kjaerum, Anders Mildner & Ditte Bjerregaard.
