There seems to be a lot of confusion about the office of prophet in the New Testament Church. New Testament prophets have seven roles, or functions, in the Church today. We cannot dismiss their purposes, because they release words of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, helping us navigate the times we are in.

A prophet of the New Testament never changes the Word of God. The prophet gives us words that illuminate God’s purposes for us today.
