Radical Wellness

7. Perfectionism, Acne, and Authenticity with Daisy Jing

Listen Later

Brene Brown said… “Perfectionism is a twenty-ton shield that we lug around thinking it will protect us when, in fact, it’s the thing that’s really preventing us from taking flight.”

Our guest today is someone that our listeners will relate to on so many levels. She grew up battling cystic acne, and striving to be seen through perfectionism and exhaustive attempts at controlling the things that brought her pain. One day she snapped and decided to share her unfiltered story and face to the world. This act of courage changed the rest of her life and continues to impact so many others.
