Third Technician David Lister, lowest-ranking member of the Jupiter Mining Corporation vessel Red Dwarf has awaken from stasis millions of years after everyone else onboard was killed due to a radiation leak from an improperly sealed drive plate. Now possibly the last human in existence, Lister must make his way back to Earth aboard this ghost ship with only Holly, the ship’s computer, a life form evolved from Lister’s pet cat, and a hologram of Second Technician Arnold Rimmer (who was responsible for killing everyone onboard) to keep him sane on his journey back home. Did we mention this is a comedy?
