This week we chat to Australian composer & music producer, Richard Pleasance. Discovering a talent for composing and playing music at a young age, Richard played in several influential Australian bands before forming Boom Crash Opera. Not long after leaving the group he found a place composing music for hit series Sea Change, along with City Homicide,  Emerald Falls, Kenny, and Conspiracy 365. Currently Richard is composing for Freemantle Media's drama TV series, Wentworth. We talk to him about composing music for both Film and TV, the ways directors and producers influence score, and how young composers can find work within the industry.
