Hey lil homies (haha)!
I had an experience the other day that inspired me to think a little deeper about open-mindedness and just how important it is in this day and age (literally is there a better time than the 2020 world shut down?! I think not).
We're all asking questions right now. We're all curious. None of us know WT actual F is going on, so tension is high. But it's only high because we forgot we were human and that we have never / will never understand anything. ANYTHING.
I repeat, WE ARE HUMAN.
And isn't it interesting that instead of opening our minds more with an intention to connect, we actually embrace MORE of what we already thought we knew? Why do we do that? Actually I know why. It is because we want to feel safe.
But, we will NEVER make a change here while we're all on ten thousand spectrums.
So I propose one thing - and that thing is to actually let go of our safety nets, and chill out enough to listen to somebody else that we may not think we agree with. We honestly do not know, and in a time where we have so much potential for change, it may be the most important decision we ever make.
Amen.
