Souleymane Wane, a member of the national champion 1999 UConn men's basketball team, joins the show to break down one of the most significant games in UConn basketball history, the 1999 Elite Eight against Gonzaga.
Having never reached the Final Four in program history, Wane talks about how much beating Gonzaga and breaking through meant to the Huskies, and to coach Jim Calhoun in particular. He also shares some of his favorite memories from that championship season, his subsequent professional career overseas and his current run as a high school basketball coach in Massachusetts. He also dishes on some great Khalid El-Amin stories, which you'll definitely want to stick around to the end for.
