If I could go back and coach myself as a young entrepreneur, this is what I would teach myself.

For every level of success, there's a different mindset, but the one phrase that will always resonate with me is, "If they can do it, why not me?"

After adopting this mindset, here are seven things to consider on the journey to becoming a millionaire:

• Things will be tougher than you think
• Expect the people around you to not understand you
• Expect to see fake friends bring you down
• Remember who was there to support you 
• Make sure you know exactly what you want
• Reach out to people who have made it
• Keep pushing when things get tough
