7. The Disappearance of Tera Lynn Smith
On the night of August 22, 1998 16-year-old Tera Lynn Smith
told her 11-year-old sister, Sierra, that she was going for a quick jog and would be back in 20 minutes. Tera never came back home that night and her whereabouts remain a mystery to this day.

contact the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office at 530-245-6135.
