Today I would like us to look at the love of God.

Many people have never considered how much God really loves them. Today we will look at four ways God has shown his love towards mankind.

Our verses for today are found in John 3:16 and 1 John 3:16. Let’s read those verses.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

And then…

1 John 3:16 "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."

Man was created in God’s image and is His greatest creation. Even though man sinned against God in the garden and fellowship with Him was broken, God still loved man. God blesses and shows His love in many ways.
