Social media is a powerful tool for your business, but it can be overwhelming to try and figure out where to start.
So what do you need to know?
Here are 7 things you need to know about social media in 2023:
1. Understand that not every platform is for everyone. Different kinds of businesses have different needs, so don’t assume that Twitter or Instagram will work best for your brand—research which platforms will help your company grow.
2. Engagement is KEY! Going live on Instagram and posting great content isn't enough anymore; you need to engage with your followers by responding to their comments and questions.
3. There is no growth without consistency: You need to post regularly on all of your social media accounts in order for them to be effective at attracting new customers (and retaining old ones).
4. It's becoming a PAY-TO-PLAY ENVIRONMENT: If you want your posts seen by more people, then you'll need to pay money for ads and boosts—this is true across all social platforms, but especially on Facebook and Instagram right now! Paying attention here could save you lots of money in the long run!
