7: Voices You Listen To With Brock & Jeremy

Listen Later

This week we discuss how to think about what content to consume and share.  The conversation includes the popularity and usefulness of podcasts compared to other mediums, as well as the proliferation of very niche content.  In fact, we believe that as more podcasts are produced they get more niche.

In the era of an endless stream of news, we also take time to consider the depth of different mediums, evaluating books versus podcasts versus articles in terms of depth.
Brock specifically mentions that he often gets the most value from very detailed industry newsletters.  Jeremy also talks about the value of taking advantage of the opportunity to consuming very different content than others in your industry or on your career path.

Finally we jump into specific content creators we do listen to, some of our favorites include Tim Ferriss, Gary Vaynerchuck (more for motivation than specific lessons), Jack Welch, and Ryan Holiday.

Thanks, as always, for listening and support the show.  Be sure to sign up at our website, MillennialExec.com, to get notified of all episodes and news.
