Google Hangouts are a great way for homeschoolers to collaborate and share ideas. Hangouts are simply conference calls that are conducted via Google Plus. There is no special software required to participate. All you need is a microphone and/or a web cam to start hosting a hangout.
1. Book reading club
2. Collaborate on science projects
3. Watch educational videos on YT together and discuss
4. Music lessons
5. Teach computer skills
6. Presentations
7. Collaborate with other homeschoolers
There are many other ways homeschoolers can use Hangouts. Don’t limit yourself to what I’ve listed here. What ways do you thing homeschoolers can use Hangouts? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
