In this episode, I talk to Christy Un who is the co-founder of Genervision House, an NGO localizing and spreading awareness regarding Sustainable Development Goals in Macau.   

Prior to co-founding the NGO with her friend, Christy worked with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees where she created content on refugee-related developments for the largest Syrian Refugee camp in Jordan. She has also worked closely with the United Nations University Institute in Macau in the areas of Global Public Policy and Sustainable Development Goals.   

Christy is also an established researcher and a columnist with some of her work published in the diplomat and the International Conference on the Ethical and Social Impact of ICT journal.   

In this episode, Christy talks about her experiences working at the largest Syrian Refugee camp, her take on cybersecurity, and trends that can revolutionize social impact for the better such as blockchain and iris scan technologies.   

She also talks about the funding for social impact ventures, why good public policy and governance is needed, and how she is tackling the Sustainable Development goal challenges in her country Macau.
