What is addiction really? What if it’s not what you think it is?

Addiction is an energy looking for a target. 

The target could be drugs or alcohol, sex or food, but it can just as easily be a need to be right, to be perfect, or to fix or rescue people.

Addiction is not wrong: it’s a coping skill that many of us adopted because we didn’t know how to manage this reality.
