Tonight we discuss:

• How free software is marginalized - In other words, there are things in modern life that can't be done with free software, and instead require some proprietary technology. However, I argue that it's a lot better than it used to be.
• Using a password manager, especially with "sugggeeeesssted" passwords, means relinquishing control of your life to someone else. If you really insist on using a password manager, we'll discuss a few points you should know to protect yourself.
• Are complex passwords really more secure?
• What's the best way to make sure I never lose my passwords?
• Finally, we discuss how all of this technology and control SEEMS intimidating and controlling, but it won't last forever. The Roman Empire was similar, but it eventually fell. Keep your eyes focused on the eternal and it'll remind you that all this is fleeting.
