‘CandyMan’ - In what is being called a ‘spiritual Sequel’ to the cult classic from 1992 comes the highly anticipated ‘Candyman’! The story revolves around an artist who becomes ‘inspired’ by the urban legend of The CandyMan where if you say his name 5 times into a mirror, he will materialise and kill you! Shock and/or Awe! One thing is for sure after watching this trailer…. I have never been more terrified of Destiny’s Child in my life…. Hopefully you’re not allergic to bees because it’s coming locally on the 11th of June!
‘The High Note’ - Just what we needed, another…. ‘musical’..... ‘romance’..... ‘drama’..... ‘comedy’? I’m not sure what genre they’re trying to push but we follow the story of Grace Davis, a major music superstar and the chick from ‘ 50 Shades of Grey’ playing her personal assistant as they embark on a journey to discover themselves or find love or fight the man. If this was a cup of tea, it’s not mine. Coming 8th of May.
‘After We Collided’ - The sequel we all have been waiting for!! Obviously we all saw the huge smash hit ‘After’ and have been yearning for this sequel since the moment we all left the theater after the midnight screenings of ‘After’ on premiere night! Tessa and Hardin are back and THEY'RE fucking up a storm, LITERALLY! Based on the hugely popular housewife ‘romance novels’ of the same name, get your boners ready because it’s coming to the big screen later this year!
‘Charm City Kings’ - A wild and wacky summertime school holiday comedy classic as a local teenager named ‘Mouse’ tries to hang with the local dirt bike crew, ‘The Midnight Clique’! Lol Jks, it’s actually a serious drama about a young boy and the choices he takes on whether he should go down the right or the wrong path. It’s still about him wanting to join a dirt bike crew, just more robbery, violence and thug life than wacky summertime comedy. Coming April in the U.S.
‘Premature’ - This all telling documentary is a 2c3pod original about one man's struggle with a very personal issue…. coming soon…. too, soon…. But seriously, the film ‘Premature’ is a hard hitting love story about star crossed lovers who fall into a quick romance before the summer is over and they go their separate ways. But maybe their love affair is a sign that sacrifices need to be made to stay together. What will happen and who will do what?! Find out on the internet now!
‘The Painted Bird’ - As the cinematic world is expanding and foreign films are being recognize critically with their western counterparts we have what appears to be another brilliant foreign film on our hands. Filmed entirely in black and white, ‘The Painted Bird’ follows a young Jewish boy as he seeks refuge from WWII across Eastern Europe. At an almost 3 hour run time, this film definitely won’t be for everyone but having done the festival circuit, it has earned itself an international release starting in the UK in March and the U.S. in April, potentially Australia soon.

‘The Big Trip’ - Hold the phone ladies and gentlemen, am I seeing this correctly?! Yes, that is correct…. the man, the myth, the LEGEND that is Pauly Fucking Shore is back on the big screen baby!! In an animated feature BUT STILL, he’s back and ready to squeeze all the juice!
‘Downhill’ - Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell team up for this Dramedy about a middle aged couple who need to re-evaluate their life and love. Set in a ski resort!
