Rest in Peace Rob and Michele Reiner - Monday, December 15, 2026
From 'Eyes Wide Shut' to 'Open Your Eyes'. I am joined by David Charles Plate to discuss synchronicity in multi-media and his work experimenting with "syncs" - pairs of movies and albums played together simultaneously. We talk about why Kubrick is so great (obviously) and Eyes Wide Shut (and how Tom met Nicole), 9/11 and who released albums that day, the Beatles and other bands, Tarantino v Dano, the future of movies with A.I. and the Manson murders. We review some of David's syncs, and he goes through experiences of taking LSD, his thoughts on Kubrick and the moon landing, sticks up for Michael Jackson, and stresses to us why you MUST pay attention.
