Lots of misleading topics in this episode. From dust being gross skin to possibly helping the ozone, to snacks being fun but also the worst, and German Chocolate Cake - by any name - is the gross.
Timestamps for Funsies:
Hey Bestie 1:57 | Snacks are UnstableFact 1 7:16 | German Chocolate Cake is MisleadingGame 11:39 | This or ThatFact 2 14:31 | Dust is gross… or not?
Just the Facts:Fact: German chocolate cake, a cake we have discussed should be called German Coconut Chocolate Cake, has another naming issue that has me fired up turns out, the cake doesn’t come from Germany. It was named after, Sam German, who created a type of baking chocolate for Baker’s in 1852.
Fact: Bust out your dust rags! The main component in household dust is human skin cells! One pro to this gross fact? The American Chemical Society found says a skin oil called squalene can reduce ozone levels indoors by 15 percent.
Plus, Maggie gets a PERFECT SCORE on Sarah’s “This or That” quiz.
What do you think? Is the only upswing to being a grown-up that you can eat whatever snacks you want? What other desserts have misleading names? Would you rather dust up glitter or human skin cells?
