The Seahawks see the end of an era as QB Russell Wilson has been traded to the Denver Broncos and MLB Bobby Wagner has been released as a cap saving move. Seahawks receive two first-round picks (2022 #9 overall & 2023 1st), two second-round picks (2022 #40 overall and 2023 2nd), 2022 5th round pick, TE Noah Fant (former 2019 1st round pick 20th overall), DL Shelby Harris, and QB Drew Lock (former 2019 2nd round pick 42nd overall) for QB Russell Wilson and 2022 4th round pick. The trade won't be official until the league year starts mid-March but cutting Bobby goes into effect immediately and saves the Seahawks about $16.5m in cap space; the Seahawks now have about $51m in cap space (2nd most in the NFL). Russ and Bobby were the last remaining players from the Seahawks 2013 Superbowl winning team.
