701: Seed Starting Challenges.

This is the September 2022 Seed Saving Class with Kari Spencer discussing seed starting.  There is nothing more satisfying than getting a jump on the gardening season by starting seeds in flats or in the ground.  What do we need to know to be successful?  Soil composition, temperature, moisture and light all determine whether we are jumping for joy from our efforts or crying out in despair.  How many times have we started seeds only to realize we created a wonderful sprouted bounty for our feathered friends?  Get a good start to starting seeds with some simple information and ideas for success.  A little attention will go a long way in making sure you lengthen your garden season and end up with healthy vibrant plants you started from seeds!  At least ten times a year we have a live Seed Saving Class.
