Let’s start by saying I met Niamh in the pub one afternoon and this podcast could have been about 8 hours long, but we couldn’t do that to our editor Dee. So we capped the recording after an hour and continued with the pints for a few hours more.

What I realised quite quickly after meeting her, is that Niamh is no ordinary woman. She’s a million different types of woman all rolled into one feisty wee package. She’s a life drawing model, bellydancer, single mother of four, mountain climber, podiatrist, solo traveller and an absolute, certified, top class buzzer. 

Her stories have me in creases, she has impeccable comedic timing, but what strikes me the most is her warmth. She has a maternal energy around her, not mammy-ish, just general craic with a hint of divilment and a whole lot of kindness too.
