John Gorka is a world-renowned singer-songwriter who began his career at a coffeehouse in Pennsylvania called "The Godfrey Daniels." Rolling Stone magazine called him "the preeminent male singer-songwriter of the New Folk Movement." His work has been performed and recorded by Mary Chapin Carpenter and Nanci Griffith just to name a few.
