Drawing a lesson from behaviorism, we must recognize that authentic faith is measured not by the comforting narratives we tell ourselves, but by our concrete actions; because much is expected of those who have received the immense gift of grace, we are challenged to truly actualize our beliefs by incarnating them into our daily behavior rather than just going through the motions.
