Welcome back to Nuanced Beauty!
INTERVIEW EPISODE
I'm so honored to have Sarah on the show today to talk about a very vulnerable and nuanced topic: Postpartum Depression. I first heard Sarah share her story with a group of ladies at a St. John's BFF Luncheon, and I was moved to reach out. Her story is hard, and I imagine every mom's entrance into motherhood is hard. YES! It's beautiful, amazing, miraculous life. But also, it's physically exhausting, stressful, anxious, and depressing too. Every mom's story is different, but I think we all can relate and resonate with the highs and lows.
Sarah's story has some lows, and some glimmers of hope in the form of a present just for her, that led her to pay it forward to other new moms. She gave back to the new moms in her life in the form of a present to brighten their day. This small mission of hers has expanded into a non-profit mission as of last year. Truly beautiful and inspiring.
I look forward to Present Moms reaching their goal of 120 boxes this year!
