Alitza (Pia) Trumpler grew up in communist Czechoslovakia. At the age of 21 she defected from her country via Italy where she spent four fascinating month in a refugee camp. With the assistance of International Rescue Committee she legally entered the United States, where she presently resides. Her various talents, interests and her inquisitive non-conformist personality drive her life as she navigates through a series of short, successful, unrelated careers: political-educational management, fashion and uniform design, glass design and production, private investigation, automobile sales, education, writing, and brand and visual identity to name the few. “It is not the particular industry I am interested in, it is your problem I want to solve, it is your challenge I desire to triumph and present you with a winning result - that is what gratifies me, that is the greatest value I bring to the table.”
