His professional journey started as a lawyer, before moving into real estate development where he co-founded RSM Development and Management, a company with a portfolio of more than 1 million square feet. In addition, Marcus and his partners own more than 4,000 apartments across Michigan. Scott is also the CEO of L5 Fitness and owns the state rights to Orangetheory Fitness in Michigan. As he shares, the Orangetheory brand found him and immediately he became a huge fan. He felt that the concept was right to be able to help people with their fitness goals and became passionate about its expansion.

-Starting a video business at age 14 that eventually paid for law school
-Embracing work as fun by enjoying what he is doing, and who he is doing it with
