72: So Lame: We All Have Issues, Don’t Let Your Issues Have You
In this episode, host Tomeria Jordan gets real about the issues of life and how so often we allow our lives to be defined by the issues we've encountered. Much like the woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8) or the man who was healed at the pool (John 5), God can restore us no matter how long we've been in our current condition.
Tomeria shares how recent news events are prime examples of people being known by their issues, highlighting briefly, the scandals surrounding Ime Udoka of the Boston Celtics, Bret Favre, and Adam Levine.
Whether 12 years, 38 years, or more, if we hold fast to our faith (confidence) and be obedient to God we can have in a moment what took years to make us lame (weakened, injured, immobilized, etc.).

- Important correction: At the 4:49 mark I misquoted 2 Samuel 13 (Story of Amnon and Tamar) noting Tamar was raped by Absalom not Amnon. This is later corrected shortly thereafter around the 5:17 mark indicating that Amnon raped Tamar and was ultimately killed by Absalom his brother who was angry with his brother because of what he had done.
