-Episode cover features a 1914 photograph showing men of the 63rd Company, Coast Artillery posing on the massive 12-inch gun on the equally as large disappearing carriage, complete with company dog, at Fort Worden's Battery Kinzie, gun pit 1. The cannon is resting in the firing position. Battry Kinzie opened in 1912 and was armed with the largest guns that were installed at Fort Worden. These two guns could fire one thousand pound shell over 10 miles, all in the name of defending Admiralty Inlet and the entrance to Puget Sound.
