This Friday show kicks off with Carrie & Ben sharing their excitement for Brady Street Festival coming up this weekend & Carrie sharing her disdain for long lines and large crowds at any festival setting as the Wisconsin State Fair approaches. Ben & Carrie also discuss Ben showing up to the office and celebrating having his toes out along with the passing of former WWE legend Hulk Hogan and what he will be remembered for to the larger public.
The duo then gets into "Something Juicy" sharing the biggest stories from the past 24 hours which starts with news that Governer Tony Evers is not seeking re-election for a 3rd term & County Executive David Crowley who is planning to throw his hat in the ring for the coveted role in Milwaukee. Carrie & Ben also cover rapper GloRilla being arrested while a robbery occurred at her home without her being there, along with the popular E! News platform being cancelled and switching to a digital model going forward.
Later in the hour Carrie & Ben share a tragic story of Two young women who were out celebrating their college graduations when they were struck by a car that “disregarded a traffic barrier,” in downtown Milwaukee at the intersection of Water and State streets. With both women suffering serious, but life changing non-fatal injuries & authorities giving a citation to the guilty party, Carrie & Ben ask Truth Nation is the penalty not severe enough or if there needs to be changes to laws around reckless driving in the city?
