During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are celebrating my birthday by talking about cultivating a meaningful and Christ-honoring life. So often we move from one day to the next, simply doing the next thing, with very little thought to what we want our lives to be about. We are reactionary instead of proactive. We let life happen to us instead of designing a life that includes all the best things God wants for us. We either drift aimlessly or we are frantically driven for some version of the perfect life that remains just beyond our grasp. I don't know about you, but I want to be the kind of person that deeply enjoys my life – the kind of person that fully embraces all God has for me in this season.
