Thank you for finding this episode, we pray you will hear the Christmas story with NEW ears. The words are by a talented poet from Scotland named James Montgomery. Montgomery wanted to tell the whole Gospel story with his text. You might be surprised to learn that Montgomery's original poem was a lot longer than what is found in today's hymnals.
