My mother, Leslye Layne Russell, was a poet and true creative spirit. She passed away before she published her poetry, and in the months prior to her death, I promised to publish and share her work. Here it is!!!
A book, audio book, and other trinkets of delight are coming soon!
82 Days of Poetry has been created with honor and deep respect for my mom, and all these poems were written and compiled prior to her passing in 2018. I am simply reading her poetic lines! We, as a family, own and reserve the rights to her amazing work.
"Owl" is a blessing of a poem that tells of a mystical dream and the waking from it. Do you dream? Would you like to? The owl of this poem awaits you.
