EPISODE 73: WOW WEE!

Way back at start of The 80%, (episode number twelve!) I chatted with this week’s guest, the exceedingly talented and tenacious, Sophie White.

Back then, Sophie had only written one book, had a weekly column in the Sunday Independent (which she still has) and been published in countless magazines and papers. I mean, what had she really achieved, eh? But Sophie was one woman in search of a novel, and 'ever tried. ever failed' she kept going, pursuing her creative dream which has been realised in the form of her debut work of fiction, Filter This.

We talked about getting to know a washing machine, rejection, the artifice, skill and enjoyment of creating a digital life, online shame and of course, her latest work. I've included links to most of the things we mentioned in this week's The 80% below.
