Australians don’t eat enough food! This sounds a bit strange, but with research claiming that Australians eat two vegetables a day and that can include a potato chip and potatoes (which aren't really food) then this could actually be true.
There are so many diets out there....high-fat diet, low-fat diet, special diet, but do we really know what we are eating? So many of us are still missing out on vital minerals and antioxidants. Nutritional deficiencies are showing up in the epidemic of gut problems and reduced gut abilities which makes the topic of natural food supplements a major discussion!
Today on The Good Doctors we will talk about how food starts losing nutritional value at different stages of its lifecycle and how the present Australian diet demands the consumption of dietary supplements. Joining us on the show is Dr. Peter Dingle who will throw light on the benefits of vitamin C supplements while explaining the correlation between dosages and the impact on various organs. Dr Peter Dingle will also provide his recommendations on the optimal (and safest) intake of mineral supplements.
