Summer 1979... when the whole world looked like a washed-out Polaroid.  The backseat of a 72 Pontiac Catalina.  No AC; the windows are down. It’s late at night.  The scent of Lilac in the air.  Ian Gomm “Hold On” is drifting back from the single speaker on the dash.  This was the moment Bob Shannon knew music would be a big part of his life. A life-long musician, he’s a self-proclaimed music scholar and has spent the majority of his life packing his skull with music and music trivia.
