Thank you for finding Hymn Talk Twin Talk! We are so excited to share Episode 74 with you. This hymn is full of joy, full of truth, and full of the hope that we have in Jesus. This is our temporary home and we have an eternity in the sweet by and by to look forward to!
Hymn writer Sanford Fillmore Bennett basically crafted the phrase, "the sweet by-and-by" after a conversation with his friend, fellow hymn writer Joseph Philbrick Webster. Then the two gentlemen wrote the hymn together in less than 30 minutes!
We loved learning about this hymn and we hope you do too!
