Strange & Unexplained

#74 The Reykjavik Confessions

Listen Later

In the Icelandic capital city of Reykjavik during the 1970s the population was only 220,000 people, for reference that is less than the population of Reno NV in 2010. So with a small population, the number of violent crimes is one of the lowest in the world. This is why,  when two people went missing in a year in 1974 the whole country was pressuring the police to solve the cases.
Two missing people, six confessions, and zero bodies. Was there even a crime committed?
