Topic: Communicating Needs

This week’s episode is about Needs. How and when should we communicate our needs to our significant other, and at what point during the dating stage should this conversation occur? C.L. says you have to know what your needs are, and Nique suggests that those needs should be communicated during the talking stage. Yusuf cautions that if a person has a need that requires a partner to change, it's only going to work if that person sees the value in the change. Teisha contends that when two people agree to be in a relationship, each partner should come to the table being open and willing to try and meet the other’s needs. Listen to the show to find out who mentions slow-talking, who says that women feel owed after sex, who says a person doesn’t have to show compassion to show respect, and who says she doesn’t want to be the leader in a relationship.
