"This man, this One, the Messiah. Not much has changed. He’s still asking questions today…of you and me. Still inviting. But not questions to play dumb, or be rude or shaming. No, questions to give us a moment to pause what we’re doing, take inventory, reflect, be curious. A water break between the 5-minute rounds of this life. And many times, like Walmart Woman, I change the topic too because who really wants to stare wide-eyed at their own “5 husbands and a live-in boyfriend,” so to speak?”
