My guest on this week's episode is Mike Roberts. As he became a husband and father, knowing he needed to get out of his current lifestyle, his wise mom said to him one day, "I think this might be a good job for you".

And so he tried it. And worked at it. And made the commitment.

Now he's a successful entrepreneur, who's so happy he made the choice he did, because he was able to have so many hours of "windshield time" with his kids over the years.

He used to tell them, "If you're not the lead dog, your view never changes", so get the heck out there and lead.

A few other great tips he had for his kids:

• Your internal voice is there for a reason (so incredibly true!)
• A void = unhappy and unhealthy (we must find purpose)
• Productive = happy and healthy (make things happen)

In the end, "his heart is filled with joy", because of the time he had with his kids. All because he made the decision to evolve, become successful and make his family a priority.
