a movement artist, educator and scholar based in houston, where she serves as an assistant professor of dance at sam houston state university. her work bridges dance, somatics and healing practices. she’s not only a teacher of technique and theory, but also a certified alexander technique teacher and a craniosacral therapist in training. adele’s artistry has been shaped by years of performing in new york with acclaimed choreographers and companies, and today she continues to create work in collaboration with fellow artists, while exploring trauma-informed pedagogy and the power of movement to connect body, mind and spirit.
